ACFB is looking for volunteers to assist in our new
Children's Waiting Room
Up to 12 volunteers needed.
The ACFB has opened a Children’s Waiting Room to assist with children whose parent needs to shop for their family.
This room is designed to be child friendly and be separate from the adult waiting area.
Children can color, read or be read to, watch a movie and have a snack.
We need loving individuals who care about kids to watch over them. Individuals with childcare experience are welcome, in particular.
Shifts will be available Monday through Friday afternoons.

Are you interested in helping people improve their lives?
Our new Bridges to Opportunity program is seeking volunteers interested in assisting and tutoring clients desiring to earn their GED. Hours will vary based on individual schedules. A GED Volunteer tutor program orientation will be provided.
A staff member will call interested volunteers.
Volunteers are needed to tutor clients in all areas:
Math, Science, Writing, Reading and Social Studies.

unless accompanied and supervised by a parent or guardian.

The Arvada Community Food Bank endeavors to help students fulfill Community Service hours, as well as Court Ordered service hours. Community Service hours are limited to those between the ages of 13 to 18 /senior in high school. 13 year-olds must be accompanied by a parent or gaurdian.
